![]() Yes, you can take drugs and smack people in the face with a tennis racket. Yes, you can actually get drunk at your apartment and drive whilst under the influence. In the way of purchasing things with real world currency, yes, you can buy virtual money on Grand Theft Auto: Online for real money, if that was for some reason a decision-making fact in your venture. This game is a direct copy of Los Angeles, and they even mention it in a few trailers. I honestly don't see why this next thing is even a topic on this website, though I'll cover it just to do exactly that. well just don't get them this game, 'cause there is a plethora of swearing in this game from civilians cursing at you when stealing their cars (objectifiable) to the main protagonists swearing quite a lot. If your son or daughter can't hear bad language. There is a bit of misogynistic behavior (degrading women to make them seem more like sex symbols than human beings), though there's no more hookers in modern day Los Santos than there is in modern day Los Angeles. A minigame allows the character to get a lap dance from a stripper at a club, though that is completely avoidable. If your son or daughter wants this game and you know they won't kill people with miniguns for no reason, that is no problem.įor sexual content, I seriously think that if your offspring is mature as previously mentioned, you can trust them not to go to the inappropriate websites, watch strange TV channels, or go to strip clubs then that is not a problem either. I think this game is by far the best game on the market right now, and profane language that they hear more of during one day at their middle/high school than they do in one session of this game. If you are a parent and are reading this, do NOT get this for your son/daughter that is younger than 13 if you are not 110% sure that they're is mature enough to not mimic the main protagonists in this game. ![]() Being 11, I do play my fair share and more of rated M games such as Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Payday 2, etc. Okay, yes, I am an eleven year old kid preaching about a game that should probably be rated AO and how 13 year-olds could play it, but hear me out on this. But I do highly recommend this and if you’re at the right age I would give it a try. This is an very good game but you need to be extremely careful about who you let play this, this is most certainly not a kids game, anyone you see saying this is a kids game is either a liar or hasn’t played the game. This game contains very little positive messages, characters will talk about loyalty a little but that’s about it. Drugs and alcohol also play a big role in the game, I won’t go into any details but this being a game about crime I think you can imagine how it is. This game also contains an extremely disturbing scene of torture. Violence is also quite bad too, most of the time you don’t have to participate in violent acts outside of but you can expect a good amount of realistic violence whether or not you do your best to avoid it. But even if you do avoid these things you will still end up encountering sex within the main story, the game also contains a ton of profanity, not only does the game use the f bomb like the word “the” but you can also expect to hear the n word quite a lot too. Grand Theft Auto V, or GTA V gets about as bad as you can possibly imagine, kids might tell you that there is no sex but let me tell you there is LOTS of sex, you have the option to go to a strip club, pick up prostitutes, ect. ![]() The game is fun and the story is better, but for christ’s Sake this isn’t a kids game! A lot of people on here will tell you that grand theft auto v is over rated and not that bad but let me tell you as someone who has actually completed the game it is about as bad as people will tell you. This game I’d just like to say is phenomenal, this tells the story of these three men in a way that pulls you in right from the moment you begin playing, the lives of these characters, the game is filled with laughs and emotional moments, thrills and chaos like you wouldn’t believe. Grand Theft Auto follows the lives of three criminals, Trevor, Michael and Franklin.

![]() ![]() ![]() after all I paid lots of money so I have a Blu-ray so that I use it. I pretend I have a Blu-ray on my machine so that I can freely use it that's why I choose this option, it is against the law to sell something that wont work, so I expect it to be free and included by Asus on my machine. I have cyber link on my unit which I installed from whiten my Asus installation wizard ,but when I press on CD DVD OR BlyRay it ask me to upgrade, Ok, so if I download AsusDVD I should be able to play dvd and blu ray disk, but on the website it show win 8. Noel, you can go to and download a trial, or start using the on demand version where you pay as little as $15 quarterly to use the latest version of PowerDVD Ultimate - that's what I use - so I can download a copy to any machine I am running from at the time. Word from Asus is that they stopped including Asus DVD because most users didn't take advantage of it, so they stopped including Asus DVD - which also plays Blu-ray's on models that include Blu-ray - you can't add a player later and have it work. Noel/toronto699, most G751's didn't come with AsusDVD, I am surprised toronto699 has it installed, thanks for the report. , the first time different media is inserted in the BD drive u should see that pop up asking what u want to do, open file or play disk My G751-JY-DH72X has AsusDVD by Cyberlink installed that's the G751 default media player for DVD, BluRay, CD, when u first insert a disk in the BD drive Windows 8.1 asks what do u want to do with the disk, play or open file, maybe that's the problem ? if somehow files was selected the first time that's what the BluRay drive will do open files, im unsure how to change that. ![]() ![]() You then can sandwich a “negative” (which is actually a positive) which I created by printing a black and white image onto some clear transparency, and then exposing it in the sun for around 40 minutes. You can create a solution of a non-color fast yellow dye by dissolving some in alcohol and painting it onto paper. Of particular interest to me was using the spice turmeric. They are a photographic process that uses non-color dyes, usually derived from plants. I’m running out of energy, but a couple of weeks ago, I was experimenting with creating anthotypes. We are trying to see if we can lure them all down again at once so we can have them trapped, get mom fixed and maybe see if we can get the babies rehomed before they go full feral. My guess is that they are 8-10 weeks old. Patches and Whittaker showed up with five kittens, three of them sort of patchy (although with little orange that we see in mom) and the other two inky black solid color. She was obviously nursing for some time, but we hadn’t seen the babies. We’ve suspected that Whittaker is the daddy for a long time, given that they occasionally show up together. Patches is a female who was obviously pregnant around the same time. He tested positive for FIV, which makes him not a good candidate for adoption given that I have two indoor cats already, so he’s back out roaming. He got into a fight with something six or eight weeks ago, and we ended up trapping him and taking him to the vet, where he got some antibiotics and was neutered and microchipped. In other news, we’ve been taking care of a couple of feral cats whom we’ve named Whittaker and Patches. Here is the new one with a smaller Babco vise for size comparison. I applied some Citristrip to bring the entire thing down to bare metal, and now the project is stalled while I consider how I’m going to finish the vise. I disassembled it all to base components, and in the process got tons of old grease all over my workbench. I soaked the wrench in some vinegar for 18 hours, and then hit it with a wire brush and it turned out well. I cleaned up the draw knife with some 320 sandpaper and WD-40, and it turned out pretty nice. In other news, I went to an estate sale and got a couple of other goodies, including an antique PS&W draw knife, an old Vlchek auto wrench, and a very large (75 pound) Rock Island No, 574 vice. Note: the 6502 emulator above doesn’t have a proper implementation of BCD mode in the 6502, which makes the scoring incorrect until you sort it out. ![]() In particular, deciphering the abstract functioning of the vector generator took me a while to sort out.īut I eventually got it sorted out. Over the next several days, I managed to get most of the emulator cobbled together while watching Psych reruns. It’s pretty straightforward to do a half-assed job of this, and I got about 60% of the opcodes implemented before I got grumpy, and decided to cheat by using rather nice little 6502 emulator core which was placed in the public domain. I started trying to write my own emulator. So instead I embarked upon creating an emulator for the Atari game Asteroids. I briefly considered writing a full emulator for BattleZone, but it seemed difficult because while the main processor for the machine was my old familiar pal, the 6502, it also included a custom processor that was designed to handle the math necessary to render the tanks in 3D. This, combined with some very simple (and very slow) vector rasterization code I wrote lead to me extracting some very cool outlines directly from the arcade roms. Luckily, a bit o work on the internet lead me to the vector ROMs and how the backdrops were encoded. I had also considered trying to figure out how to extract the vectors that it draws, perhaps with an eye to creating a bit o hanging wall art using EL wire and the vector shapes. I had long wished to actually understand more about how this game managed to achieve the 3D graphics which were quite revolutionary for its time. I had already been doing some research into the old Atari arcade game Battlezone. But it also got me back into being interested in writing another emulator. I also relearned a small amount of the subtleties of that hardware which I had forgotten. While goofing around a few weeks ago, I tried to recompile it, but had some difficulties which I eventually ironed out. A couple of years ago I wrote an emulator for the 8080 microprocessor so I could make an emulator for the original Space Invaders games. In the past I’ve written an emulator for the DEC PDP-1 so I could run SpaceWar!, one of the very first video games. I’ve been interested in writing emulators for old computers for quite some time. ![]() While I found this to be a nice touch to the game, I wished there was more variety in the commentary. He now hosts a racing talk show called RSN and throughout the game Chick will chime in with his bitter and jealous two-cents, as you race your way to victory. Pre and post races are met with some humorous commentary from Chick Hicks, who you may remember from the first Cars movie. Although I’ve played some of these tracks before, they felt like new having been suited for the better sequel that Driven to Win is. The last 5 tracks are from the Cars 2 video game and have been retooled to accommodate the new mechanics of Driven to Win. The first 17 tracks were built specifically for Driven to Win and feature the best locations from the Cars 3 movie. The game’s 21 tracks are all well thought out and themed nicely to the Cars movies. The more challenges you complete, the more you unlock, and the loop just goes on and on. The various challenges encouraged me to play the game in different ways, and evoked that “one more race” feeling that keep me playing for upwards of 20 hours. Xbox and PlayStation players might equate these tasks or challenges to the likes of Achievements or Trophies. The Hall of Fame is essentially a big check list with 136 challenges to accomplish. While many tracks, characters, and cosmetic features are locked from the beginning, the game does a wonderful job of laying out the road map (no pun intended) for players to unlock all the game’s content. After a quick and intuitive tutorial, players are set free to decide how they want to play. The story is light, and the events don’t matter a whole lot, but they are there. The game takes place after the events of the movie. With over 20 tracks to race on, a handful of game modes, and some of the best kart racing gameplay out there, Cars 3 offers a premier movie tie-in that should complement the recent release of the Cars 3 movie nicely. It’s about the best (realistic) option fans could have hoped for, and with Cars 3: Driven to Win Avalanche has crafted a game that makes a bold statement: They are back and ready to create more fantastic video games set in the Disney universes we love.ĭriven to Win is a full-fledged, content heavy movie tie-in, the likes we haven’t seen in years. ![]() Under ownership of WB Games, Avalanche has managed to make a return to the industry creating Disney licensed games of all things. At the start of the game, the island is populated exclusively by the Solarii Brotherhood, a violent cult of criminals, mercenaries, and shipwreck survivors. In exploring the island, the player may find evidence that among others Portuguese traders, United States Marines, and a Japanese military project were all stranded on Yamatai at various points throughout history. Very little is known about Yamatai's history in the time since Himiko's death, other than that the island's infamy was established shortly thereafter. Yamatai was once ruled by a queen named Himiko, known by her honorific title of Sun Queen who, according to legend, was blessed with shamanistic powers that enabled her to control the weather. The island and the kingdom that once existed there-is shrouded in mystery, given its reputation for fearsome storms and shipwrecks that litter its coastline. Story: This game is set on Yamatai, a fictional lost island in the Dragon's Triangle off the coast of Japan. Quick time events are scattered at regular intervals throughout the game, often appearing at crucial or fast-moving points in the game's plot, such as extracting a shard of metal, and escaping a collapsing cave. Many of the players' moves are carried over from the previous games created by Crystal Dynamics, with some tweaks added, such as incorporating elements of stealth gameplay. Players can traverse between the camps and across the island using footpaths, improvised or already-available ziplines and climbable tracks. The game uses an interconnected hub-and-spoke model that combines action-adventure, exploration, and survival mechanics. Players take control of the series lead character Lara Croft. Gameplay: Tomb Raider is presented in third-person perspective. It is a compelling reading of the character we see Lara's vulnerability, but she is never disempowered, and never less than totally capable in extreme danger. Camilla Luddington's performance as Croft is impressively convincing, and throughout this adventure you'll really feel for Lara she is just not having a good time out there. But it's all for the sake of character development, and Tomb Raider is so good at this that you'll forgive the strict direction especially after the game opens out past the 60-minute mark and lets you loose on the island. In the beginning the first hour is a sequence of carefully scripted set-pieces and, yes, a cavalcade of button-mashing QTEs. It is the tenth title in the Tomb Raider franchise, and operates as a reboot that reconstructs the origins of Lara Croft. ![]() Introduction : Tomb Raider is a 2013 action-adventure video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix's European Introduction : Tomb Raider is a 2013 action-adventure video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix's European subsidiary. ![]() Besides the main objective, the game also offers a host of small challenges that reward players with Starite shards. This is significantly different from the game’s previous versions where players had to choose individual puzzles for exploration. Scribblenauts Unlimited offers players a huge world to explore. Furthermore, if you wrongly type anything, the game will offer you proposals as to what you may really mean (just like the autocorrect tool). This is evident from the very beginning as the game shows you its playing mechanisms by letting you enter items, and make magical objects of choice. Scribblenauts Unlimited lets players use their imagination in fun ways to solve its interesting puzzles. Likewise, the player’s main aim is to gather enough Straites that allows him to expel an ancient curse. Although the latest version has similar gameplay it also offers more adventure features. Its gameplay is similar to previous versions as you take control of Maxwell, whose purpose is to gather “Starites” (a supernatural item created from the joy of other characters).
